I am a storyteller. Whether it be with my writing or my photography or in this case, a combination of both. There are many layers to directing, but for me, this is the most critical component.  

I love the collaborative process of making a movie. Coming together with other creative minds, pushing each other to take a story from script to screen -- rolling cameras as we watch actors give birth to characters, then marinating that big, beautiful mess in a bath of music and sound design. It is truly satisfying to pull that creation from the fiery forge and set it loose upon the world.
